Extending the Reach of Public Key Technology

Abstract
This talk will show how public key technology can be cost-effectively deployed and applied. The focus of this discussion will be techniques and technologies for wide scale deployment of public key certificates and credentials, and their application within the enterprise environment. Applications of pulic key technology, and integration with mainframe systems, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Kerberos, browser and other legacy applications and systems will be shown.

Speaker Bio
Joe Kovara is the Chief Technology Officer for CyberSafe Corporation. Mr. Kovara, with more than 25 years in the industry, has had extensive experience with operating systems and networks, including the creation of operating systems for embedded real-time systems. He holds a number of patents on self-configuring computers, and brings in-depth knowledge of systems and security to product development at CyberSafe.
